Iman was the first Black model to become the face of Revlon in 1979 and is now the owner of her own multi-million dollar Beauty Brand. The Somali-born supermodel turns 60 next month and to celeBrate she will be on the cover of ItalianVanity Fair. I prefer the photos inside where Iman looks more like Iman:

Iman retired from modeling in 1989, but works with Bethann Hardison and Naomi Campbell as the DIversity Coalition. Of dIversity in fashion, she has said, “There were more Black models on the runway when I started in the 1970s than there are today.”
