Folks, I’ve found the best place to check out all the fall trends: it’s the Black Market Clash exhibition and pop-up shop on Berwick Street. There’s wall-to-wall bubbleGum pink, a fine selection of sleeveless and biker Jackets, as well as a sprinkling of camo and tartan print. Everything you need for the new season, with a fabulous soundtrack. WHat more could the discerning buyer of a certain age want?

Growing up in 1970s Britain, The Clash were (still are) my favorite band in the world, and yesterday, looking in the store, a combination ofWhite man in Hammersmith Palais,Paul Simonon’s broken guitar and old Joe Strummer photos brought Tears of nostalgia to my Eyes.

In addition to old clothes, there are many other great memories and of course the new remastered album. I’m even thinking of breaking one of the Golden rules of THat‘s Not My Age and buying a tour T-shirt. Or maybe I’ll settle for a commemoratIve mug insTead. WHat do you think?

The Match. The most elegant band in the world, ever.
